This five-session package includes:

One in-depth foundation nutrition session with a functional nutritionist and three follow-up functional medicine health coaching sessions. Followed by a 30-minute nutrition follow-up.

  • This is our best value and where our clients have the most success reclaiming their health and achieving long-lasting results.

    This collaborative care team approach combines the power of Functional Nutrition with Functional Medicine health coaching.

    This package starts with a 90-minute foundation session with an in-depth nutritional analysis. This is followed by three one-hour coaching sessions where the client and coach co-create plans for action on the path to long-term wellness.

    We will meet once a week for three weeks, then once every two weeks for a month

    Food plans will be tailored to your individual nutritional needs. Food plans include recipes, a shopping list, and weekly planned meals.

Individual/Maintenence Sessions

  • Single one on one 60-minute sessions.

  • After successfully implementing changes through previous coaching sessions, individual sessions are usually booked for accountability, maintenance, and getting back on track.

    Single sessions are also great for clients who are hesitant about the power of health coaching and can get their feet wet and experience what to expect from a health coaching relationship.

5 Session Health Coaching Packages

  • 1 - In-depth foundation session + 4 Follow Up Sessions

  • Meeting once a week for three weeks, then once every two weeks for a month

    Online sessions via zoom

    Ideal for clients new to health coaching and ready to work towards sustained long-term behavior change.

    Together we establish short and long-term goals and co-create new SMART goals every session that aligns with your vision of optimal health and wellness.

    Customized handouts, recipes, and other supportive resources are shared to empower you on your wellness journey.

8 Session Health Coaching Packages

  • 1 - In-Depth foundation session + 7 Follow Up Sessions

  • Meeting once a week for four weeks, then once every two weeks for two months.

    Online sessions via zoom

    Ideal for clients with more complex conditions who are working on implementing a therapeutic approach recommended by their practitioner. (weight loss, autoimmune, diabetes, etc.)

    Together we establish short and long-term goals and co-create new SMART goals every session that aligns with your vision of optimal health and wellness.

    Customized handouts, recipes, and other supportive resources are shared to empower you on your wellness journey.

Session #1 - Foundation Session + Nutrtion Consultation

This first session will include an in-depth nutritional consultation with the health coach and nutritionist.

This first session focuses on discovering nutritional inadequacies and meeting the client where they are as we prepare to incorporate a nutritional protocol suited best for their bio-individuality. The nutritionist will recommend a complete food plan with recipes and a shopping list, as well as any additional supplements.

After the nutritional consultation, the remainder of the session will be focused on health coaching. Working together, the client sets the tone as the coach empowers the client through encouragement, exploration, utilizing internal strengths, identifying and utilizing external resources, and supporting and developing self-management strategies for executing sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes.

  • This session usually takes place one week after the nutrition foundation session. This first session is focused on discovering the client's intrinsic motivation as well as long-term and short-term goals. During this first session we will create a personal mission statement before we embark on this healing journey.

    The focus is on supporting clients to achieve self-directed goals and behavioral changes in line with the client’s vision for health and wellness.

    Questions regarding the protocol prescribed by the nutritionist are addressed here, and additional resources, such as a new weekly meal plan, shopping list, recipes, and any additional supporting resources, will be provided.

    This session will establish the coaching relationship and discover the client’s preferred method of accountability. Setting the tone for the coach’s role as an accountability partner, not a director, in navigating behavioral change and exploring opportunities for growth and development.

    The focus is then shifted toward co-creating achievable and realistic goals the client wants to work toward as we prepare to meet again in two weeks.

  • This session takes place two weeks from the last session. We begin every session by celebrating the wins from the past few weeks.

    We will discover challenges and setbacks and brainstorm and collaborate on ideas relying on past successes and how the client had to overcome challenges in the past through relying on their unique character strengths.

    We will also work together and create new SMART goals for the next month. Clients usually broaden their goals beyond nutrition and start to incorporate goals for exercise, sleep, relaxation, stress reduction, and working on relationships.

    A new weekly meal plan, recipes, and shopping list, will be provided, also any additional resources to empower the client on the healing journey.

  • This session takes place two weeks from the last session. Once again celebrating wins from the past two weeks.

    We will work on making any adjustments necessary to our new SMART goals from last week and discover any insights from the past month.

    We dive into the importance of modifyable lifestyle factors and disccvover areas the client wants to improve on and set new goals to work on specific areas.

    We will meet again a month after this session again, so we wrap up the session by refining our SMART goals or developing new SMART goals.

    A new weekly meal plan, recipes, and shopping list will be provided, also any additional resources to empower the client on the healing journey.

  • This session occurs one month after session #3. The focus here is sustaining the change as we move forward.

    An opportunity to have any questions answered by the integrative nutritionist.

    Once again, we start by celebrating successes and setting up new plans for the challenges ahead. We follow up on the past month, discovering what has worked and what needs to be changed.

    We will emphasize accountability as you move forward, addressing relationships and their importance in sustained long-term change.

    We discuss wins, challenges, and setbacks with the protocol or any other goals and make adjustments.

    Lastly, we will create long-term goals and a new personal mission statement.

Meet Your Functional Medicine Health Coach

Shortly after being diagnosed with RRMS in 2019, Kevin was fortunate enough to discover the power of Functional Medicine. Kevin now shares the healing power of Functional Medicine with others who are ready to reclaim their health and wellness

Kevin is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCA - 2022). Immediately after graduation, he completed Dr. Terry Wahls's certification program to become a Certified Wahls Health Practitioner (CWHP). In 2023, Kevin furthered his training by becoming a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

Kevin’s journey living with MS, his commitment, experience, and education in Functional Medicine, has made him a great ally for clients working through difficult protocols.

When not working with clients and transforming their health, you can find Kevin adventuring in the outdoors doing what he loves. From rock climbing, canyoneering, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and teaching yoga at multiple studios in Abq, NM.
